Founded in 2019 by John Poynton AO and Chris Stavrianou, Poynton Stavrianou was established with a clear purpose – to become Western Australia’s leading independent corporate advisor.
What began as a small team of four has grown into a dynamic team of 20+ professionals, including two new partners and expanded service offerings.
Todd Grover joined in 2023, bringing decades of experience in private and mid-market M&A and establishing our private markets practice. Ben Jones joined in 2025, with more than 25 years in Australian real estate finance and valuations and founded our property advisory practice.
Today, we’re proud to advise some of WA’s leading companies, while continuing to grow with the same independence and integrity we were founded on.
