In September 2024, PS was appointed as corporate and strategic advisor to Lixa, a public unlisted company developing scalable solutions to reverse bacterial resistance to antimicrobials.
PS provided advice on business development and capital raising opportunities to support companies growth.
Since 2020, PS has acted as Austal’s strategic corporate advisor, supporting the company on its rapid growth journey.
Our work has included supporting Austal on a range of organic and inorganic growth opportunities and advising Austal on its defence against foreign party interest it received in 2023.
In December 2024, PS was appointed as corporate and strategic advisor to Decidr AI, an ASX-listed Australian-based AI company. Decidr is a developer / provider of an agentic AI system designed to provide a unified AI environment which integrates all of a company’s third party tools and business systems.
PS provides ongoing strategic advice in relation to the implementation of Decidr’s corporate growth strategy.
Since 2021, PS has acted as strategic advisor to the senior lender group of Bluewaters Power, Western Australia’s youngest and only privately owned coal-fired power generator.
The ongoing mandate includes strategic planning in relation to long-term coal supply and the management of and liaison with various stakeholders such as Government and commercial third-parties.
In March 2026, Culligan International, the global leader in water transformation and filtration with operations in more than 90 countries, announced the acquisition of Complete Home Filtration, a WA-based provider of premium whole home filtration solutions that has earned national recognition for its product quality, customer service and sustainability-led approach.
The transaction is highly complementary to Culligan’s ANZ portfolio, which also includes Zip Water, and strengthens the group’s residential offering and capability in whole‑home water filtration.

In September 2025, Fenix Resources Limited, an ASX-listed iron ore mining company with operations in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, announced it had executed a 30-year exclusive right to mine agreement with Sinosteel Midwest Corporation (SMC) granting Fenix the right to mine and export ore from the 290Mt Weld Range Project.
PS acted as Fenix’s corporate advisor in relation to the transaction and continues to provide advice as the company progresses scoping studies on the project.
In April 2025, GenusPlus Group, the ASX-listed provider of power and communications infrastructure solutions, announced the acquisition of MGC Solutions, a WA-based specialised provider of safety critical rail systems to Tier 1 customers across the metro, mining and freight sectors.
The transaction marks GenusPlus’ strategic entry into the rail sector, with a highly complementary service offering including overhead line equipment, electrical, communications and signalling services.
PS acted as advisor to MGC Solutions on the transaction.
In February 2025, Fenix Resources Limited, an ASX-listed iron ore mining company with operations in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, announced an offer to acquire CZR Resources Limited in an all-scrip off market takeover offer.
Fenix demonstrated disciplined capital management when a competing superior proposal emerged from Rio Tinto and chose not to exercise their right to match.
PS acted as Fenix’s corporate advisor in relation to the takeover offer.
In January 2025, Justrite Safety Group, a global leader in industrial safety solutions, announced the acquisition of Global Spill and Safety, a privately owned national manufacturer of spill and safety products including spill kits, absorbents, safety equipment, spill containment, signage and more.
The transaction strengthens Justrite’s footprint in the Asia-Pacific region and enhances its product portfolio with highly complementary offerings.
PS acted as advisor to Global Spill & Safety on the transaction.
In July 2024, Gemcorp Capital, an emerging market asset manager, and Sierra Rutile Holdings Limited (ASX:SRX), announced they had entered into a binding bid implementation agreement for Gemcorp to acquire the all the shares it did not already won for cash. At the time, Gemcorp held a 19.9% interest.
PS acted as corporate advisor to Gemcorp on the purchase of the 19.9% pre-bid stake and on the takeover offer.
In November 2023, SCF Partners, a global private equity firm focused on energy services, products and technology, announced its investment in Callidus Group, a specialist provider of valve management, welding and maintenance services to the critical minerals processing and LNG sectors across Asia-Pacific.
The transaction complements SCF’s existing portfolio and will support Callidus’ continued growth and international expansion, leveraging SCF’s deep industry expertise and global network.
PS acted as sell-side advisor to Dutch mobility conglomerate Pon Holdings on the transaction, which involved the divestment of its Australian industrials portfolio.
In November 2023, Midway Metals, a leading Australian supplier of stainless steel products, announced the acquisition of Prochem Pipeline Products, a specialist provider of stainless steel piping, instrumentation, and specialty valves.
The transaction strengthens Midway’s position in the industrial stainless steel sector and brings the Prochem brand back into Australian ownership.

In November 2023, United Safety & Survivability Corporation, a global manufacturer of safety and survivability solutions, announced the acquisition of Fire Protection Technologies, an independent supplier of product, design and engineering services across Asia-Pacific.
The acquisition enhances United Safety’s global footprint and product portfolio, further strengthening its market share within the fire suppression industry.
PS acted as sell-side advisor to Dutch mobility conglomerate Pon Holdings on the transaction, which involved the divestment of its Australian industrials portfolio.
In November 2023, Fenix Resources Limited (ASX:FEX) announced it had executed definitive documents with 10M Pty Ltd for the exclusive right to purchase and export up to 500kt of direct shipping ore from the high-grade Twin Peaks DSO Project within a 24 month period.
PS acted as corporate advisor to Fenix in respect of the ore purchase agreement.
In October 2023, Derwent Industries, an Australian industrial manufacturing group, announced the acquisition of AVFI, a Melbourne-based provider of specialist valve products and engineered solutions.
The addition of AVFI to Derwent’s Flow Control division expands its product offering to meet the growing needs of the market.

In May 2023, I Squared Capital, a leading global infrastructure investor, announced the acquisition of Rentco, the largest privately owned rental provider of heavy duty transport equipment in Australia.
The transaction complements I Squared’s existing transport and logistics portfolio and expands its presence in Australia.

In November 2022, Perth Markets Group Limited, an unlisted public company which owns and manages Western Australia’s only wholesale fruit and vegetable market facility, received an unsolicited proportional off-market takeover bid from its largest shareholder, Brisbane Markets Limited.
The PMGL Board successfully recommended that shareholders reject the offer on the basis that it did not offer full liquidity, lacked certainty on what shareholders would receive for their remaining stake, and that BML’s post-acquisition strategy was unclear.
PS acted as defence advisor to the PMGL Board.
In October 2022, Kiwa Group (Australia and North America) announced the acquisition of CMW Geosciences, one of the largest privately owned geotechnical engineering businesses in Australia and NZ.
The addition of CMW Geosciences, a market leading geotechnical consultancy firm with 200 staff in 10 locations across Australia and New Zealand, makes the company part of a large international TIC company with highly respected services and skills.

In October 2022, Australia’s leading multi-modal transport operator, Kelsian Group (ASX:KLS) announced its expansion in the education transport sector through the strategic acquisition of Horizons West Bus and Coachlines.
Horizons West is one of the WA’s largest and longest operating family-owned bus hire and coach charter companies. Its market leading position in the WA education transport sector will complement Kelsian’s market leading positions in the public transport and resources sector bus markets in WA.

In June 2022, PS supported Hong Kong Xinhe International Investment Co with their minority investment in Bullseye Mining Ltd which, at the time, was a public unlisted entity subject to a takeover offer by Emerald Resources Ltd (ASX:EMR).

In May 2022, OTR Tyres acquired the Australian business of Titan International, Inc. (NYSE: TWI)
Titan is a leading global manufacturer of off-highway wheels, tyres, assemblies, and undercarriage products. Headquartered in West Chicago, Illinois, the company globally produces a broad range of products in the agricultural, earthmoving/construction, and consumer markets.
OTR started in Western Australia and has grown with operations in key Australian mining regions (WA and QLD) as well as manufacturing hubs (Vic and NSW). Their customers also include agricultural companies and OEM’s.

In April 2022, Qscan Group, a private Australian medical imaging company majority owned by dual ASX/NSX listed Infratil Limited, acquired Envision Medical Imaging, a private medical imaging business in WA employing 23 doctors and operating across two locations in Perth.
Qscan Group operates more than 80 clinics in metro and regional areas across Australia, including stand-alone clinics, hospital contracts and teleradiology contracts.
PS advised Envision Medical Imaging on the transaction.
In October 2021, mining services group, Norcliffe, announced the acquisition of Enerflow Mining Services, a WA-based provider of mobile mechanical maintenance, drill hire, skilled labour fabrication and parts sales.
The sale will see Enerflow accelerate growth and elevate operational capability on a national scale, and is a strategic acquisition for Norcliffe, which is expected to continue down the acquisition path.

In July 2021, Capricorn Metals Ltd (ASX:CMM) announced it had entered into a binding agreement to acquire 100% of the Mt Gibson Gold Project in the Murchison region of Western Australia from Asia Iron Australia.
PS acted as corporate advisor to Asia Iron Australia in respect of the sale.
In June 2021, Fenix Resources Limited, an ASX-listed iron ore mining company with operations in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, announced it had acquired the remaining 50% in the Fenix-Newhaul JV which resulted in consolidation of 100% ownership of the haulage business into Fenix.
PS acted as corporate advisor Fenix in relation to the acquisition.
In May 2021, global drilling services company Major Drilling Group International Inc. (TSX:MDI) acquired the privately owned McKay Drilling.
Founded in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia in 1990, McKay Drilling operates a fleet of high-calibre track and truck mounted drill rigs, has longstanding partnerships with Tier 1 miners and employed more than 200 people at the time of acquisition.
The acquisition formed a meaningful part of Major’s growth strategy, providing an entry and strong foothold in the Australian market.

In May 2021, ASX-listed Kelsian Group (formerly SeaLink Travel Group), acquired the privately owned Go West Tours, WA’s leading supplier of modern charter, rental and tour vehicles, servicing the mining, education, tourism and government sectors.
Kelsian Group is Australia’s largest integrated land and marine, tourism and public transport service provider with international operations in London and Singapore. The Group moves more than 206 million customers per year, has in excess of 9,000 employees and operates approximately 3,700 buses and 120 ferries.

In March 2021, Lotus Resources Limited (ASX:LOT) announced it had reached an agreement with Kayalekera Resources Pty Ltd to exercise its right to acquire an additional 20% interest in the Kayelekera Uranium Project in Malawi.
PS acted as corporate advisor to Lotus in respect of the acquisition.
In July 2020, Watts Water Technologies (NYSE:WTS) the global provider of water quality solutions, acquired the privately owned Australian Valve Group (AVG), a WA-based designer and distributor heating control valves.
The acquisition will allow Watts to expand its product breadth and provide greater channel access to the strategically important Australian market. Watts was founded 140 years ago in the USA and employs thousands of people across the globe.

In January 2020, Resolute Mining Limited signed definitive agreements for the sale of the Ravenswood Gold Mine in Queensland to a consortium of EMR Capital and Golden Energy and Resources (GEAR).
EMR Capital is a specialist resources manager and operator with extensive operational experience and a proven track record in successful resource operations, development and investment.
GEAR is a leading energy and resources company in Asia Pacific, with a focus on metallurgical coal, gold, and renewable energy.

In December 2019, UON, the privately owned integrated energy company providing turnkey solutions to the West Australian resources sector, announced Macquarie Bank as a strategic investor.
UON has twenty years of experience in solving the energy and water challenges of remote sites operating in harsh environments. Through highly efficient, end-to-end solutions for water and energy systems, UON optimises operations whether sites use diesel, hybrid or renewable power systems, reducing both expenditure and emissions.

In October 2019, the privately owned Australian prison phone specialist, Comsec TR, sold a majority stake in its business to global prison media and communications leader, Telio.
Comsec was founded in Sydney in 1991 and later designed and developed the first prisoner phone system installed in an Australian prison in Perth in 1994. At the time of acquisition, Comsec TR was the provider of prison phone systems in Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania.

n August 2017, UrbanGrid Australia, a privately owned leading provider of specialist Utilities services in Western Australia, was acquired by Downer EDI (ASX:DOW).
UrbanGrid operates in the Water, Power, Gas, Communication and Civil sectors and is the largest provider of support services to the Perth metropolitan gas network owner, ATCO.
The acquisition satisfies Downer’s core strategic initiative to establish a significant utilities maintenance business in Western Australia.

In April 2016, Minnovare, a privately owned leading provider of drilling technology that improves the speed, cost and accuracy of underground drilling, received investment by a joint vehicle for private equity funds Jolimont Global and Viburnum Funds.
This included a partial exit, a capital raising, and a debt instrument. The funding aims to facilitate the expansion of the Minnovare footprint internationally.

In December 2015, multi-disciplinary construction and engineering provider, Decmil Group (ASX: DCG), announced the acquisition of SC Services, a privately owned end-to-end infrastructure services provider to telecommunications network owners, manufacturers and NBN service providers.
The acquisition provides Decmil with direct exposure to the telecommunications infrastructure services market in Australia.

In July 2012, Titan International Inc (NYSE: TWI) acquired the privately owned Planet Corporation Group of Companies (Planet) in an all-cash transaction. This included National Tyres, Acme Wheel & Rim, Resource Tyres Company and Choice Tyre Wholesalers, all based in Perth, Western Australia
Planet is an OTR tyre and wheel specialist that manufactures, distributes and services products to customers in the mining, agricultural, construction and earthmoving industries.
